Frequently Asked Questions About ePlanner™

I already utilize and/or committed to another on-line registration product. Can I still use that product or will I be doubling my work by trying to incorporate ePlanner™ as a tool?

ePlanner™ is designed to import data from virtually any format. If your current on-line registration tool does not already export to Excel or delimited file formats, simply give us a call. We'll discuss your needs and provide the proper solution for transferring data with no lost time to the user.

Does your product have the ability to export data?

Yes, you can export directly to Microsoft® Office products or to a file.

Describe the reporting capabilities of the product.

Instantaneous reports including standard meeting industry reports as well as reports specific to ePlanner™

What is the ePlanner™ reporting tool?

We have a library of reports. Reports offer options and filters and can be exported to Excel or to a file. Reports can be run from a browser or the ePlanner™ smart client. Custom reports available.

What type of meeting related forms does your product provide?

Site Selection RFP, Site Inspection Checklist, Meeting Event Order, Budget, Registration, Name Badges, Personalized Agenda, Tent Cards, Place Cards

Does your product have the ability to store Site Data?

Yes, all property meeting specification charts are stored in the site library.

What platform does the system operate on?

ePlanner™ browser based access requires Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher. The ePlanner™ Intelligent Planner™ smart client requires Microsoft's .Net Framework 1.1 or higher. Please visit our Systems Requirement page for details.

Does it work in conjunction with other applications?

Yes. Any application that can consume web services can interface with ePlanner™ , because all of ePlanner™ 's functionality and features are exposed through a standard set of web services. Interfaces with the Microsoft® Office Suite, for example; mail merges, email through Outlook, and exporting data to Excel through the Intelligent Planner™.

Can the system be customized?

ePlanner™ allows the end user to customize reports and to customize the interface defaults or other basic modifications. For the experienced web services developer, they could build a custom system using the ePlanner™ web services. If there are features or functionality that are not currently available through ePlanner™ , eMeetingExperts, LLC can provide a quote upon request.

  1. Secure transmission and receipt of sensitive/confidential data.
    ePlanner™ uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to provide secure communications between the ePlanner™ servers and your browser or the Intelligent Planner™ smart client. SSL is the technology of choice of online banks and merchants. SSL encrypts all of your data so that no one except you can view or change your data.

  2. Secure access, management and storage of the data.
    The ePlanner™ servers sit behind a firewall that protects the servers from incursions by unauthorized users. The ePlanner™ web services implement business rules that prevent anyone but you from viewing or changing your data.

  3. Safeguards in place to detect unauthorized activity or failure of the data protection measures.
    All logins are tracked and monitored by eMeetingExperts, LLC.

  4. Privacy of our Customers
    ePlanner™ customers are not disclosed to any third parties without the explicit permission of the customer. No customer lists are ever sold. Privacy Statement.

How many meeting folders can I have at one time?

Depending on the product you choose, you may have an unlimited number of events per year.

Can I duplicate meeting folders to save time in set-up?

Yes, each meeting folder is assigned a unique ID, however you may duplicate information from one event to another as required.
